Carey F. Cooper

Mr. Cooper is the Founder and CEO of Danaco Solutions LLC, a supply chain management company focusing on fresh produce solutions for leading restaurant chains. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois, Champaign and his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University in Chicago. He also received his CPA in 1978. After practicing corporate law, Mr. Cooper joined Redi-Cut Foods where he became President in 1993. He helped lead Redi-Cut to become one of the largest processors of fresh cut vegetables in the country and led a successful sale of that company in 2000.
Mr. Cooper’s leadership, knowledge, and innovation have been recognized by customers such as McDonald’s for which he serves on their worldwide Suppler Advisory Council. His industry involvement includes the International Fresh Processors Association, Produce Marketing Association and United Fresh Produce Association.
Mr. Cooper lives in Highland Park with his wife Cheryl and has three adult children. He is involved in many professional and not for profit organizations. He is a board member of Enjoy Life Natural Brands and Edward Don and Company. He has served as President of the North Suburban Jewish Community Center and as Vice President of the National Fragile X Foundation and the Rush Neurobehavioral Center. Mr. Cooper is currently President of the Board of Trustees for The Cove School in Northbrook, Illinois. In addition, he was a member of the Young Presidents Organization and has graduated into a member of the World Presidents Organization.
